Writing to Influence Colleagues

Collaborative WorkGroup

The people at the Center for Teaching Quality know that writing is a powerful medium for influencing colleagues–it offers permanence, portability, and accessibility. A survey of highly effective educators showed that many benefited from working with peers through mentorship, professional learning communities, common planning time, and collaboration–finds that reinforce what we already know: such communication is a powerful opportunity for influence.

In this TeachingPartners Live Collaborative, the Center for Teaching Quality’s Caitlin Kennedy shares ideas and suggestions for a mode of communication with increasing capacity to impact colleagues: the personal blog.
