Professional Biography

Jaraux has 11 years teaching experience in traditional and magnet schools. She is the co-creator of mentor/remediation program called The Dream Team established in 2012 which has now been adopted school-wide. She is a member of the 2014-2016 Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Teacher Advisory Council.

Jaraux is also a virtual community Organizer for CTQ (Center for Teaching Quality). With CTQ she has presented numerous workshops such as Teacher Leadership That Transforms and Design Thinking.

Also with CTQ, she has contributed to various social media campaigns like #TeachingIs and #TeachLearnLead. She also had the honor of being a part of the 2015 Global Teacher summit.

In her own school district Jaraux is a clinical Educator for the University of South Florida’s Helios STEM Program where she facilitates future educators in their practicum experience. She also writes STEM lessons for this program and other programs within the District. She is currently the assistant varsity Track coach at Jefferson High School.
