Marie Krueger-Miller began teaching after working as a stage manager in opera, theatre, and dance. She has taught in Houston for sixteen years where she uses the arts for a multidisciplinary approach to learning. She has specialized in schools with gifted and talented magnets and, the last five years, in turn around schools. Marie has been a two-time Fund for Teachers Fellow, a Fishman Prize for Superlative Teaching finalist, a Harvard Ed Labs Apollo Fellow, and a member of the
Gates Teacher Advisory Council. She has been so lucky to learn from many gifted and generous educators here and in her travels.
