After graduating Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor's in Secondary English Education, I moved to Louisville to pursue my teaching career. Since then, I have attained a Master's in Instructional Design and Technology from Western Governors University.
Currently in my ninth year, I have taught High School English at both the 10th and 12th grade levels. I am currently an English Instructional Coach at Stuart Academy in Louisville.
In terms of my professional experiences, I have been trained in Universal Design for Learning and Project Based Learning. I have also been trained as a virtual community organizer through the Center for Teaching Quality. The Center for Teaching Quality has also trained me on how to leverage storytelling to further professional practices in America and worldwide.
Lastly, I have a wonderful wife, Rachel, who is also a teacher. I am also the father to a wonderful daughter, Harper.
