Susan Bahrenburg

Biography
Susan Bahrenburg is a business educator in Monticello, New York.
A Certified Public Accountant, Susan practiced in the field for 7 years before becoming a teacher. “Although I enjoyed being a CPA for business clients, I felt the desire to do so much more with my accounting knowledge. I feel my teaching is enhanced by the industry experiences I share with my students. I am so fortunate to do what I love.”
Susan currently serves as the NAF Academy of Finance Director, Work-Based Learning Coordinator, and Co-Site Coordinator of the VITA Program at Monticello. She has presented at local and national conferences on the Monticello Work – Based Learning, VITA, and NAF Academy of Finance Programs. Susan also participated as an industry expert during the writing of the Principles of Accounting and Managerial Accounting curriculum for NAF.
She and her husband John have two daughters, Eliza and Sydney.
