Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, Grades 9-12

In this series of videos, I take participants through three activities – one high tech, one medium tech, and one low-tech – to demonstrate a variety of ways to make student thinking visible using dynamic feedback loops.

Part One: Introduction

In part one of the workshop, we begin with two questions: How do you know what your students are thinking? And how do we help student to know what they are thinking as well?

Part Two: Go Soapbox

In part two of the workshop, we use an app called “Go Soapbox.” This app allows student to do polls, quizzes, surveys, and back-channel discussions. They helps them make their thinking visible.

Part Three: Medium Tech

In part three of the workshop, I ask participants to analyze as story and answer the question “who is most responsible?”
